Artist of the Year Finalist!

When I’m deep in the studio - covered in paint and lost in the process - it’s easy to forget where the work might lead. So this feels really special.

I’m so excited to share that I’ve been announced a Finalist in the Abstract category for the Visual Artists Association (VAA) Artist of the Year 2025.

Abstract art can sometimes be misunderstood but for me, it’s where the real emotion lives. It’s instinct, energy, and expression in its rawest form. So to have my work recognised in this space feels like a quiet affirmation: this way of creating matters.

The Abstract shortlist this year is full of artists pushing boundaries in beautifully different ways and I feel incredibly honoured to be part of it.

More than anything, this moment has given me momentum. To keep creating. To keep trusting the process. To keep sharing the work.
