About Emily
Emily is an emerging contemporary artist from Buckinghamshire UK, known for bold, intuitive works that celebrate imperfection, emotional honesty and creative freedom.
Rooted in abstract expressionism and influenced by the raw energy of street art, her paintings are a vibrant interplay of texture, movement and unapologetic colour. Each work is infused with emotion and energy - layered with meaning, memory and a deep curiosity about what it means to be human.
After 15+ years in the fast-paced world of advertising, burnout and a period of deep disconnection became the unexpected catalyst that brought Emily back to painting. What began as a quiet act of self-care soon reignited a long-dormant creative spark, offering relief, joy, and a more truthful way of being.
Emily creates in the spirit of joyful rebellion, against the pressure to please, the urge to edit, and the idea that art (and people) must behave.
Her work is for those craving more; more colour, more feeling, more freedom. Each painting is an invitation to step outside the lines, reconnect with what’s been quieted, and feel something real.
